Studio Gaballo Engineering was founded in 1972.

Its founder, engineer Mario GABALLO, was born in Nardò on 12/09/1947 and is a graduate in Civil Engineering at the Turin Polytechnic on 02.02.1972 with a score of 100/110. In 1972, he qualified to practise the profession and registered with the Board of Engineers of the Province of Lecce under no. 414. He set up his own firm in that same year.

He is specialized in the following fields:

– Town and urban planning;

– Architectural design and construction supervision of residential, tourist, catering and

   manufacturing facilities in general;

– Planning of Restoration jobs regarding buildings of special architectural and artistic value;

The firm was extended in 2000.

Engineer Marco GABALLO (Mario’s son) was born in Nardò on 12/12/1974 and graduated in Civil Engineering at the “La Sapienza” University in Rome on 21/12/2000 with the score of 109/110 . In 2001, he qualified to practise the profession and registered with the Board of Engineers of the Province of Lecce under no. 2129. He extended the firm in that same year.

He is specialized in the following fields:

– Sustainable urban and architectural planning and Energy Saving; Restyling
and better energy efficiency of existing homes;

-Innovative technical-construction solutions for jobs on existing buildings, such as
structural reinforcement with reinforced fibrous materials (fabrics with carbon fibres,
steel, glass, etc.) and pre-assembled anti-seismic construction technologies and with a high degree of thermal insulation (polystyrene-mixed concrete slabs, concrete-steel, etc.).

He has been a speaker at specialist conferences, lecturer in university courses and author of technical articles.
